You can help those in need with your Zakat . Your contributions will bring hope and comfort to those in need by facilitating the delivery of basic aid, food, and essential necessities .
If your total assets reach or exceed this amount, you are obligated to pay Zakat, and you must pay 2.5% of your eligible assets.
Example:
- • If your total assets are 20,000 USD, your zakat (obligatory charity) is 500 USD.
- • If your total assets are 40,000 USD, your zakat (obligatory charity) is 1,000 USD.
Your zakat will be distributed in accordance with Islamic principles.
